Q. What are the advantages of reversing the cartridge?
A. Reversing the cartridge is done to provide “optimal” filtration. Be sure to shake the filter cartridge to keep the filtering materials loose. This will provide better contact time with the water and thus better filtration.

Q. At what point should I reverse the filter?
A. You can reverse the filter every month for optimal life span.

Q. If I don't turn it around, do I still get 12 months life span?
A. Yes – just maybe not as effective over time.
