The Importance of Alkalinity

Summary of the Article Titled:

"The Importance of Alkalinity"

Offered by a Naturopathic Health Practitioner.

We live and die at the cellular level. All the cells (billions of them) that make up the human body are slightly alkaline, and must maintain alkalinity in order to function and remain healthy.

Yeasts, fungus and bacteria thrive on sugars and proteins in our bodies. They produce toxins as they grow and these move through our bodies to cause illness and imbalances. They thrive in an acid environment and they can not live in an alkaline base. When your body becomes too acidic you will suffer from acidosis and disease.

10 Reasons to Avoid Acidosis:

  1. Corrodes Arteries, Veins and Heart Tissues
  2. Accelerates Free-Radical Damage and Premature Aging
  3. Causes Weight Gain, Diabetes and Obesity
  4. Causes Cholesterol Plaque to Form
  5. Disrupts Blood Pressure
  6. Disrupts Critical Lipid and Fatty Acid Metabolism
  7. Inhibits Metabolism of Stored Energy Reserves
  8. Inhibits Cellular Regeneration & DNA-RNA Synthesis
  9. Inhibits Oxygen Getting to the Tissue
  10. Inhibits Life Giving Electrolyte Activity

More Information on Acidosis

An acid pH is the Seed-Bed of Degenerative Diseases such as:

  • Cardiovascular Disease: Arteriosclerosis, Heart Attacks, Stoke, High Cholesterol, and Blood Pressure
  • All Forms of Cancer
  • Diabetes, Insulin Sensitivity, Obesity
  • Neurological Diseases, MS, MD, ALS, And Parkinson’s Disease
  • Liver & Kidney Disease
  • Senility, Dementia, Alzheimer’s
  • Immune Deficiencies
  • Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis & Tooth Loss
  • Hormonal Imbalances
  • Premature Aging, Male Prostate Problems

Human blood should have a pH reading between 7.35 and 7.45. If blood moves too much below 6.8 or above 7.8, cells stop functioning and a patient dies. Actually a healthy body is slightly alkaline with an ideal reading around 7.4.  If you have a health problem, most likely you are acidic.

There are two things which are always associated with cancer and they are acid pH and lack of Oxygen. Terminal cancer patients are around 1000 times more acidic than normal. Our bodies simply cannot fight disease if our body pH is not properly balanced.

People who remain too acid often display symptoms such as: anxiety, diarrhoea, dilated pupils, extraverted behaviour, fatigue in early morning, headaches, hyperactivity, hyper sexuality, insomnia, nervousness, rapid heartbeat, restless legs, shortness of breath, strong appetite, high blood pressure, warm dry hands and feet. Acidosis (overly acidic body) is primary indicator of Calcium Deficiency Diseases.

Scientists have discovered that the body fluids of healthy people are alkaline (high pH) whereas the body fluids of sick people are acidic (low pH).
